Just Released! VMware vCenter Infrastructure Navigator 5.7.0

We are excited to announce the release of VMware vCenter Infrastructure Navigator 5.7.0!

vCenter Infrastructure Navigator is a component of VMware vCenter Operations Management Suite (Advanced and Enterprise editions).

Here are some key new capabilities to take note of –

  • The vFabric Hyperic agent management functionality provided by vCenter Infrastructure Navigator 5.7 enables you to automate the deployment of vFabric Hyperic agents in your virtual environment and to monitor and manage the agents’ status.
  • Users who do not have Admin credentials, but who have “Read” or higher credentials for a virtual machine, can view the vCenter Infrastructure Navigator interface on that machine. The content that is displayed in vCenter Infrastructure Navigator maps on a virtual machine is relative to the access permissions of the user. vCenter Infrastructure Navigator settings can only be accessed by a user with Admin credentials.
